Requirements //

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply

  • Agree to have a Virginia State and National Criminal Background and Sex Offender Registry check

  • Complete a 10-panel drug screen test

  • Provide a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification

  • Provide a current drivers license with a point balance of 0 or better

  • Agree to have a DMV Driver History Obtained

  • If ALS or Nationally Registered provide certification copies

  • Must be fingerprinted by the local police department and approved by the VA Office of EMS

 

EMT-Basic or EMT-Advanced 

Part-Time or PRN with opportunity for Full-Time Employment

  • Ability to lift up to 150lbs 

  • Prefer at least one (1) year experience conducting patient care

Salary:

  • Dependent on experience

Schedule:

  • Very flexible, perfect for students



EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic

Part-Time or PRN with opportunity for Full-Time Employment

Minimum Experience:

  • EVOC Certified Class II with one (1) year operating an ambulance

  • Minimum of two (2) years involving direct patient care utilizing advanced life support skills, operating an ambulance, ventilator operation and support, EKG monitoring, IV pump operation, and medication therapy.

Salary:

  • Dependent on experience

Schedule:

  • Varied based on call volume
