CAREERS 

1

AMBULANCE OPERATOR

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must be an Emergency Vehicle Operator Certified Class II by an approved VAOEMS Training Center 

  • Prefer one (1) year of experience operating an ambulance or Emergency Vehicle

  • Provide a current driver's license with a point balance of 1+ or higher 

  • Provide your DMV 7 Year driving transcript

  • Have a current CPR certification

  • Be able to operate manual and electric stretchers

  • Have basic knowledge on checking and topping off fluids in a diesel engine.

  • Work as part of a team to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients.

BLS PATIENT CARE PROVIDER

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be certified as an EMT-Basic or Advanced in the State of Virginia. 

  • Be proficient in verbal and written communication skills, adapt to changes efficiently and effectively, and be courteous to others.

  • Have a current CPR Certification  

  • Valid Driver’s License 

  • Be able to operate manual and electric stretchers

  • Work as part of a team to lift, transfer, obtain vitals, asses, monitor, and provide care for patients

ALS PATIENT CARE PROVIDER 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be certified as an EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic in the State of Virginia. 

  • Be proficient in verbal and written communication skills, adapt to changes efficiently and effectively, and be courteous to others.

  • Have a current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TEMS Released.  

  • Valid Driver’s License 

  • Be able to operate manual and electric stretchers

  • Comfortable with ventilators, IV Pumps, Deep Suctioning, and willing to ask for help when you need it.

  • Work great as part of a team and willing to help others.
